Airliners cut prices after holidays 2009-02-05 15:35:04   Print

BEIJING, Feb. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- Passengers planning to leave Tibet don't have to worry about tickets now, as their number dropped markedly after the Spring Festival period with some airlines even selling discount tickets.

Air China Tibet branch, whose passengers declined from a daily 1,000 during the 7-day holiday to 300, offers discount off-Tibet tickets up to 15 percent while Sichuan Airlines Tibet branch does the same at 20 percent off.

There are more train passengers than air passengers, but the tickets are still available the same day when you want to travel.
